Client: NPR's Invisibilia

Challenge: For the Season 2 launch of NPR's popular podcast Invisibilia, a National Listening Event was held to further connect millennials with NPR, to new ideas, and to each other. 

Solution: MSD, along with NPR's Generation Listen, developed tools to galvanize the member station community, recruited influencers such as actress Janina Gavankar, Tony-nominated Elizabeth Davis, and activist Sophia Bush, and generated buzz around Generation Listen through social media, garnering a 1.2 million hashtag reach for #NPRListeningParty.

 

BOLSTERING A NEW HOTEL BRAND      

Client: Starwood Capital

Challenge: Starwood Capital Group is launching a new line of innovative impact-focused luxury hotels that needed a voice and a brand to join its powerhouse hospitality roster.

Solution: MSD was brought on to create a brand voice that engages the right audience, and ensures that the company's lofty mission reflects in its actions. MSD helped to craft 1 Hotels' brand mission, including its language....

Transforming a content seriES

Client: Super Sprowtz

Challenge: Super Sprowtz, a children's entertainment movement for nutrition and wellness, launched a Youtube series titled 'Super Sprowtz RAW.

Solution: MSD's focus for Super Sprowtz is Content Development. Super SProwtz creates many elements of content to support its various arms. MSD focuses on ensuring this content is rich, speaks to the right audience, and is showcased on the right platforms. MSD also engages celebrities to make guest appearances on the show and develops highly strategic partnerships to elevate the brand. We also forged partnerships with powerful allies to elevate the Super Sprowtz brand.

Branded Entertainment Partnerships

Client: Hewlett-Packard

Challenge: Beyond traditional advertising, HP sought to appeal to new audiences through entertainment platforms. 

Solution: MSD managed some of the biggest entertainment partnerships for HP. MSD developed the strategy, creative, and execution for partnerships with Lifetime's Project Runway for multiple seasons, CW's Gossip Girl, Universal's The Lorax, and a partnership for Awards Season with The Weinstein Company. (In collaboration with Phenomenon Entertainment)

Full Scope of Marketing + Creative

Client: The Desai Foundation

Challenge: The Desai Foundation is dedicated to enriching local communities through health, education and culture. They needed help executing on all things marketing and creative.

Solution: MSD handles all marketing, social media, website management, event planning, and graphic design for the Foundation. MSD has executed on the 2 largest-scale events put on by the Foundation, including a gala, raising a total of $235,000. All creative items have set a visual tone for the Desai Foundation, and through our marketing efforts, the mission of the Desai Foundation has been brought to wider audiences– while also having its profile heightened.

Foras Road Album Launch

Client: Falu

Challenge: A classical Indian musician launching her second album, a drastic departure from the style and tone of her previous album, needed to bring her past audience along for the ride, while capturing a new audience. 

Solution: MSD was responsible for every part of the album launch (except the music!) – website, album artwork, social media, 6 minute film (extended EPK), and launch press – 
resulting in a highly successful launch that attracted not only the right audience, but the right professional attention propelling her career.

Client: ONE

Challenge: One.org does meaningful work in poverty eradication, and were interested in reaching a new audience with their content.

Solution: MSD helped develop highly focused, and incredibly efficient brand partnerships to help push the message of ONE.org to new audiences. Successful partnerships with Spotify, Upworthy and 'witchcraft were formed, and still continue today. (In collaboration with Juggernaut Agency)
